Greg was a college friend and shared an apartment with me during my first year of law school. He's someone who just radiated fullness of life, and it's so hard to imagine him gone. I hadn't seen Greg in a long time, but I'd been enjoying the pictures he posted on Facebook and delighting in his obvious joy at family life. Greg was a couple of years ahead of me in law school and encouraged me to intern with Judge Rose Spector, where he had his first job out of law school. I followed in Greg's footsteps and eventually worked for Judge Spector as well--it was a great experience and led to wonderful and life-changing opportunities for me. So I consider Greg to have had a very positive influence on my legal career. What a sad thing it is to lose Greg so young. While there is nothing to say to make this any better for you, please know that you are not alone in your grief.
